I feel greatly privileged to be the Principal of Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Cooch Behar after assuming the office in July, 2018. This is a new medical college coming up under the auspices of our Government with upgradation of the existing district hospital, M.J.N. Hospital.
The Science of Medicine is developing in leaps and bounds. While keeping pace with this abundance of knowledge is a challenge, the greater challenge is to make this available for benefit of our patients especially in this remote area where access and affordability to health care are major hurdles.
